Hulk vs Wolverine Movie in the works ? (Rumor)

News buzzing around the net….Marvel maybe in the works of a Hulk vs Wolverine film!! I think we need this!
What are your thoughts?

The Avengers 2 Who is Ultron ?

At Comic-Con 2013, Joss Whedon appeared on stage at the Marvel to show a quick teaser trailer that revealed the title of ‘Avengers 2‘ – ‘Age of Ultron.’ The Comic-Con crowd went nuts but for those who are unfamiliar with the “Age of Ultron” crossover event in the Marvel comic books, we present a quick primer on the upcoming supervillain in ‘Avengers 2.’ Who is Ultron? Let’s find out!

Ultron was a creation of Dr. Henry Pym (Ant-Man) as he experimented with sentient robots. His creation was a little too successful and, inhabited with Pym’s own brain waves, became self-aware. While he possessed his creators supreme intelligence, he lacked any of his compassion and conscience and almost immediately became fueled with a hatred for Pym. He rebuilt himself four times, becoming increasingly more powerful. He eventually recruited a group of Avengers villains to form the Masters of Evil.

In the “Age of Ultron” crossover event in the comic books, Ultron had rebuilt himself so many times, he was powerful enough to take over the world. The actual story involves a number of characters not in the current ‘Avengers’ movie universe (including Spider-Man, Wolverine and She-Hulk) and involves a decent deal of time travel, so we’ll imagine it’s just a launching point for the film, rather than a straight adaptation.

But what ‘Age of Ultron’ will need is the introduction of Henry Pym/Ant-Man prior to Edgar Wright’s ‘Ant-Man’ film and Vision, a character created by Ultron. This is the time where we remind you that Vin Diesel has allegedly been dropping hints about discussing Vision with Marvel and could very well be a possibility.
Ultron’s powers include the Encephalo-ray, which places victims into a death-like coma and allows him to manipulate their minds (possibly only to be activated at a later time). Like Iron Man, he also has a number of blasts and repulsors, as well as super strength and the ability to fly at supersonic speeds. His outer shell is composed as adamantium (the same metal fused to Wolverine’s skeleton) and is virtually indestructible.

He is definitely one of the biggest foes of the Avengers and it’s not surprising he’s been added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but perhaps surprising that it happened so quickly. Many assumed that ‘Avengers 2′ would focus on Thanos (and hints at the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ panel would indicate that Thanos is still very much a part of this universe) but when the title of your film is ‘Age of Ultron,’ you would have to think he will be the main villain and Thanos could be shifted to a larger part in ‘Avengers 3.’

Vin Diesel as “The Vision” in Marvel’s The Avengers 2 ?

SAN DIEGO — Vin Diesel surrendered to MTV’s questions about his Marvel meeting, while artfully avoiding any specific confirmations. He demonstrated that cool, gravely laugh, cautiously treading into top-secret territory at Comic-Con on Friday (July 19).

The last time Diesel came to SDCC, he was promoting a little movie called “Pitch Black.” Thirteen years later, he returned to unleash some killer red-band footage from “Riddick” to a vocal Hall H crowd. While the in-depth look at Diesel’s third cinematic turn as the goggle-wearing outer space badass was supercool, Twitter feeds were abuzz after he let slip a little Marvel Universe tidbit. “There is some very big news coming at the end of this month,” he teased.

Well, that certainly did little to quell the rampant speculation and excitement he ignited a short while ago when he took to social media to post about his mysterious meeting with Marvel. While he was ostensibly talking with MTV News to promote his R-rated return to the “Riddick” universe, the big super-powered elephant in the room was too big to ignore.

The big, super-powered green and yellow “elephant.”

“Oh God, Oh God. Wow. Uh… Hmm, uh…” he stuttered at the mention of the “M” word.

“Well, [to discuss it] in theory,” he began, cautiously. “I didn’t know there were over eight-thousand characters in their library. Did you? Did you?! Eight-thousand characters! They were saying, ‘You know, Vin, we have eight-thousand characters…’ ”

So, did they open up a book and say, “Which one do you want?”

“No!” he said, laughing. “I mean, ya’ know, I hope there’s more thought than that. I mean, there’s two Visions, for the record. And people know one was created by Ultron, one was created by Proctor, as you know, if you follow…”

Wait, wait, wait. Mr. “Fast & Furious” sure seems to know an awful lot about The Vision. He’s informed about how the villainous android Ultron created the Vision, whose Silver Age incarnation debuted in The Avengers in 1968. He may know all about the Wonder Man and android Human Torch connections. He brought up alternative universe guy Proctor!

Not that Diesel is the guy who brought up The Vision himself while speaking to MTV News.

“No, but I’m not mentioning that character!” he countered. “I’m not mentioning that character, I was just saying there are eight-thousand characters and I gave an example of how one character might have two different versions!”

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘ is coming to Comic-Con

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘ is coming to Comic-Con, and it wants to show off Jamie Foxx‘s character Electro. So much so they’ve cut a little teaser for his appearance at the Con.

There’s not much here but a little marketing shock and awe, but for those worried that Foxx might look a little goofy in his costume and get up, this seems to erase those doubts. And with the announcement that it will be in Hall H on Saturday, it also suggests that this arrival isn’t something that will be kept within the walls of the convention center. We’d hazard a guess that there will be some sort of trailer coming out of the panel.

But Sony and everyone involved seems to think they have a winner on their hands, and considering the recent Entertainment Weekly magazine cover, they want to build the hype for the movie starting now even though the film isn’t due out until next summer. They’re planting seeds, which — after the mixed reception that ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ got — is smart.

We’ll be covering the panel this weekend, but expect that we’ll offer any and all updates as soon as they’re available. Stay tuned as we bring you more information straight from Comic-Con 2013.

Garfield wants Spider-Man to be gay

Andrew Garfield has revealed he would like to play Spider-Man as a gay character.
The Social Network star plays Peter Parker in Marc Webb’s franchise reboot of the comic hero, The Amazing Spider-Man.
Andrew told Entertainment Weekly he has had discussions with producer Matt Tolmach about whether Peter’s main love interest “MJ”, short for Mary Jane in the comic books, could stand for a boy’s name.
“I was kind of joking, but kind of not joking about MJ,” he said. “And I was like, ‘What if MJ is a dude?’ Why can’t we discover that Peter is exploring his sexuality? It’s hardly even groundbreaking!… So why can’t he be gay? Why can’t he be into boys?”
Andrew – whose real life girlfriend Emma Stone plays Peter’s highschool sweetheart Gwen Stacy in the films – revealed he even has an actor in mind to play a male MJ.
He said: “I’ve been obsessed with Michael B Jordan since The Wire. He’s so charismatic and talented. It’d be even better – we’d have interracial bisexuality!”
Asked by Entertainment Weekly director Marc revealed he had heard a lot about Andrew’s idea.
Michael B Jordan appeared in cult TV show The Wire as a teenager caught up in a drugs gang.
Shailene Woodley was signed up to play Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but it was recently revealed she will not be appearing in the sequel, as it was reported director Marc had decided not to introduce Mary Jane until the third instalment.

Captain America 2 Movie Poster

Marvel has released ‘Captain America 2‘ poster in anticipation of the film’s panel and preview at Comic-Con 2013. And though we won’t get to see what ol’ Cap’s been up to until 2014, this poster promises that he’s been pretty busy.

The first ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ poster is here and we’re digging the simplicity. It’s just Cap’s shield on a black background but there’s something different about his shield — it’s battle-worn and faded, indicating that Cap’s been through some pretty tough times while defending his country from harm. That’s re-assuring, no?

‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ follows Cap as he struggles to simultaneously find his place in our modern world and embrace the present, while teaming up with Black Widow to fight a new and mysterious enemy in Washington D.C.

The film stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie (The Falcon), Toby Jones, and Frank Grillo. S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) will also be making appearances.

‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ will give us a sneak peek at Comic-Con on Saturday, July 20, and hits theaters on April 4, 2014. Check out the poster in full below.

Marvel and Disney dropped a bomb on their fan nation with the news that two untitled superhero movies are scheduled to hit theaters in 2016 and 2017. These two films are bulking up the post-’Avengers 2‘ Phase 3 slate, but now there’s even more news. It’s been revealed that another Marvel movie has been added for a 2016 release!

Coming at us from Collider, we now know that another and equally mysterious movie is popping out of Marvel Studios July 8. We repeat, this is in addition to two untitled films already dated for May 6, 2016 and May 5, 2017, respectively.
We’ll keep you updated as more information is revealed, though we’re anticipating some huge announcements coming next month during Comic-Con 2013. So far, speculation on these titles has centered around the highly talked-about ‘Doctor Strange,’ ‘Black Panther‘ and even sequels to the previously established ‘Thor’ and ‘Captain America’ films. Also, now that we know Robert Downey, Jr.’s Iron Man contract has been renewed all the way up to ‘The Avengers 3,’ perhaps we’ll be seeing the superhero team’s third outing in one of these new slots.
So far, the currently slotted Marvel schedule includes ‘Thor 2‘ (November 8, 2013), ‘Captain America 2‘ (April 4, 2014), ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ (August 1, 2014), ‘The Avengers 2′ (May 1, 2015) and ‘Ant-Man‘ (November 6, 2015). Keeping in mind ‘Iron Man 3′ hit theaters this past May 3, you’ll notice Marvel’s trend of releasing two films a year. So expect at least one more movie, untitled or not, to join the 2017 title.
In other news, Disney simultaneously announced the release date for its upcoming, live-action adaptation of ‘Cinderella,’ hitting theaters March 13, 2015. Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the film stars Lily James as Cinderella, Cate Blanchett as her wicked stepmother, Holliday Grainger and Sophie McShera as her wicked stepsisters, Richard Madden as her Prince Charming, and the recently announced Helena Bonham Carter as her fairy godmother.
